Congratulations to Karin and the Crowhurst lab for being awarded a renewal of their NIH SCORE SC3! This new phase of the research, titled “Synergy between acid stress chaperones HdeA and HdeB with clients and their key sites of activity” will allow us 4 more years of funded research!
This weekend multiple generations of Crowhurst Lab members – old and new – descended upon the Crowhurst homestead for a pool party! The turnout was not as high as previous years – there’s still a pandemic going on here, after all; we were responsible with our masks (even outdoors) but also had fun!
Brandon Thompson is the newest person to join our lab! Brandon is an undergrad doing his BA in Chemistry, but with an eye toward a future in Biochemistry. Welcome, Brandon!
